DECEMBER 24th, 2011 through the rest of our lives-
Cape Cup was a vision that I had 30 years ago. I collected recipes, tried them on all my friends and family, and took classes on how to run a business. I suffered through 30 years of corporate life, and raised my family, so that I could 'go out on a limb' and try my dream. I met a man who was willing to do anything for me because he loved me. And thus, Cape Cup was born.
But there would have been no Cape Cup without all of you. You all are the heart and soul of our place, and we thank you for that. We thank you for the countless gifts and cards that you gave us, we thank you for all the hugs, we thank you for articles about us, and mostly for coming in, day after day, for that cup of coffee and muffin that you bought and supported us with.
Not everyone gets to cross things off their bucket list. This was the big one for me. Now we will spend time with Scarlett, Gavin, Emma, Ben, and Chris, and, dare I say it, see the end of a Red Sox game and read a book. I am the luckiest girl in the world, and I thank you all for that gift. So it is with great pleasure that we say MERRY CHRISTMAS! and we'll see you on the beach! All our love, Elise & Bill

To our loyal customers of Cape Cup,
It is with sadness (and happiness) that we tell you all that we have decided to retire and move on with our lives in a different direction. Therefore, we will be closing Cape Cup; our last day open will be on December 23rd. We encourage anyone with gift cards to come in and use them up before we close; they will be invalid after the 23rd.
